How to configure my PC to watch TV channels using Airtel IPTV

I would like to watch Airtel IPTV on my PC, so that i can forward it to my ipad. This has been done on the bsnl iptv and people have used vlc to stream the udp with the help of wireshark. I tried the same method for airtel but with no success till date. Has anyone tried to play Airtel IPTV on PC through udp and vlc or any other method???
 
I have heard of slingbox which enables you to watch your TV on your computer/iPadThey are huge in USA. they just started in India too. Google it to learn more. It will cost you money. ( around 8-10 thousand)There is also EyeTV which may be a little cheaper.
