Hi,

I am new to this forum, but I seriously need some help over this issue.
I have a windows 2003 server hosting some websites through IIS. I got a STATIC IP connection from airtel something like 112.XXX.XXX.XXX.

Now I want to use these websites from outside environment by typing OpenDNS.
How can I achieve that.

I have already opened my modems 8080 ports and IIS is also been configured on 8080.

It will be nice if somebody can help me by some step by step procedure...

Thanks in advance.
M.B.

if you have opened port 8080 then it would be OpenDNS .. you need to add :8080 .. to ensure that ports have been opened correctly, try this online port scanner Online Port Scanner | Port Scan | Port Scanning | Portscan Tool
if you want it like OpenDNS then you need to open port 80 instead of 8080..

Do you have DDNS option in the modem ? ( my 220BX1(one) does not have it ) If not ask for older model having this facility.
