Hi frnds, When I change my password in modem. My internet stops working ! So can ne buddy tell me step by step procedure to change the password. Also I want to know how can I use my plan500 at other telephone no. which has PLAN 250. Plz tell me in detail.

well ! first change the password at the dataone portal .
then in your modem .

dataone portals : ( use any one )

http://10.240.43.216/

http://10.240.128.195/

you may use your 500 plan by changing user ID & password on the
other computer ( having 250 plan ) . and dont forget the passwords !

i have entered the default username and password given by bsnl in Dataone WebMail but it shows invalid username & password.what is wrong? can u tell me?

members/k_vishal86/ If you are a new BSNLBB user (dataone is discontinued as usage term for new connections. )do not use @ dataone.inuse the other option and try xxxxx @bsnl.in middle link.

@k_vishal86 There is no need to change password now. I am using the same password for the past one year.I am too lazy to change that ! If you change now , then you may have to change in the modem too !1.Your e mail problem solved ?2. Did you get a 14digit portal ID ( from BSnl/exchange) to check your usage ?

Yes i am new bbuser. When i call bsnl customercare (1500) they told me to create account on BSNL Portal || Value Added Services -- Login Page site. After creating account i got portal id of 14 digit. Now what is the use of that id? how can i use it to change my username & password.

To check your usage . change password go to
BSNL - Broadband Account Management use 14 digit portal id and password "password"
If your Internet connection is "always on" you have to change your user password in the modem also.

yah its work. But when i click on view usage or change username it shows error ' internal error please try again'. Is it true that we can change only username not password?

you do not get the portal ID by registering anywhere on bsnl's site but from your local exchange.the portal ID you get by registering on the site can not be used to check your usage.
