How to change dns on Airtel Xstream router?

I want to change my default airtel dns server to google but i cant the option is locked

apply for bridge mode and use your own router.
set dns on devices which is probably the better route to take for dns.

Even I want to change the primary and secondary DNS server addresses.

How can I apply for bridge mode? I don't see an option in the router settings. Airtel technical team doesn't understand the request of changing dns servers.

mail to net@airtel.in,if you are lucky they will reply and do that for you.

Got the plan upgraded to Gigabit one after submitting a request two weeks ago. Now I see the /64 prefix delegation from their router which is advertised in the LAN, but no default route from them.

Ask them to connect you to the head of their tech team. They will know.
