how to calculate how much i downloaded?

Generally mtnl or tata have data based packages, 450 for 1GB per month 150 for 1MB. If i am surfing the net how can i calculate how much I downloaded is there any configuration in the pc or any software available online.. whatever please let me know If i surf onine 6 hours in day just chating and checking mails then how much it consume in a day Thanks in advance!
