How to apply for Voter ID Card online (or offline)?

Hello friends,
I just some info about how to get voter id online?
I searched on internet and many says to register on http://eci.nic.in/.
After registering here will i get voter id card or just my name will be included in voters list?

you register then they verify and then you get your id could take months or even a year depend on your local BLO and CEO of your state

Anyone knows how I can apply for a voter id card? Can I apply right now? Because I just turned 18. How many months will I get my voters id card in after applying? I need to get a voters id card as proof to upgrade my Minor account to Regular savings account

why would a bank need your voter id card to upgrade your account 😱 your birth certificate should work! or maybe not. just realizing that there is no id proof for your age 😀

what state are you from? i think you should get the relevant info from the CEO (chief election officer) version for your state.

cool. so they now have correct info in their database. my card has the old incorrect information (i am listed as female 😡 ). I wonder how I can get a new copy which has accurate details.

I'm from Delhi. They said if I open a new Regular savings account, then PAN card is a must. But if I upgrade my current minor account to regular savings, then only government id proof + form 60
