Simple thing is surrender your Landline phone + modem + cables to the nearby Airtel centre and get a receipt for that. I did that when i disconnected so didn't face any issues.
I just had two Airtel connections cancelled within 10 days. Each time someone called they asked what new connection I had applied for and said they'll offer a better plan. When I said I had a 50Mbps fibre connection they got stumped and ended the call shortly. After this happened three or four times they disconnected the lines.
I have a Airtel Connection, but i am considering switching to another connection as its cheaper. So how do i disconnect my Airtel BB so that i dont face any harassments from their side.I have a Beetel ADSL modem, for which i paid 1000rs,so i guess i own it.I dont have their landline. So i dont have any equipment to return. What is the best way to get rid of them then?
I will write a mail to the CC.Also go to the nearest Customer care centre and give a written request and take a copy of that as received. And also make a request over phone.
I paid money for the modem,a beetel one and i dont have their landline equipment so i guess i have nothing to return.
That should be good enough?????
Hmm.....I'm currently having difficulty in even getting to the first step of getting a connection, been 4 days they still havent even come and done the feasibility check. 🙁 I think I'll put in one more request on their website.
Seems like I will have to be with bsnl lifelong..12+ year relationship does not want to let go 😛
So what is the best way to disconnect airtel broadband?I dont want to end up paying after i have already stopped using their service. So how to go about doing that so that they cant say i didnt apply for disconnection etc etc etc.
not sure if they still drag it. my last experience was fine. i wrote a mail to airtel presence social email id. asked for a confirmation. kept on checking the status for a few days to ensure that it was disconnected properly. it was indeed processed without any delays.
not sure. it was a while ago. i dumped airtel. moved to bsnl. kept bsnl for a few months. dumped bsnl. moved to reliance. kept reliance for a few months. got airtel again for backup because reliance. now i have both active.
