Hello
Recently got fiber installed at home. I received a UT Starcom 204i-h ONU. I am unable to access its admin menu.
Here are a few things that I tried.
1. Simply connect a lan cable to it.
Didn't receive any local ip or gateway ip. No access.
2. Connected to lan and assigned gateway as 192.168.1.1 and local ip as 192.168.1.2
Got 401 error, Unauthorised and access denied page. No username/password prompt.
3. Connected to PPPoE via direct dialup when connected to it.
Surprisingly, it gives me internet, but no local ip or gateway ip. No access.
4. Connected to PPPoE dialup with gateway and local ip set.
Have internet but still 401 error with unauthorised and access denied. No username/password prompt.
I am all out of ideas. I couldn't find documentation anywhere. Found a few chinese sites which show first few pages but ask to pay 9-15 renminbi via qr code scan of wechat or alipay.
Please post suggestions if any. Thank you.
