How much is the maximum speed of Edge ?Secondly,how much has the maximum speed been observed on AIRTEL edge so far ?

Otherwise EDGE can carry a bandwidth up to 236.8 Kbps(Ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enhanced_Data_Rates_for_GSM_Evolution#Transmission_techniques). which is about 30 kBps but practically users here get about 20-25 kBps or maybe a little more

O yeah.I have posted some messages in that thread also a long time back which I forget !
