The branch in Chennai/Tambaram nearest to your area !. Or try shops in Ritchie Street ( off Mount Road /Anna Salai) price difference could be Rs 20 to Rs 50/=. Depends on the make and shop ! Chinese make "Febronics" MRP marked on the box will be high. you may get it for 50% to 70%of marked price !!!!!

Update 0742 PM: sorry. the discount cannot be 70% ! reasonable 10% to 30 %

Help with Netgear WG311 v3 [Archive] - Ubuntu Forums
All Greek to me !
Last post in the thread !
Somehow I got it to work.
I tried to delete the folder rather than the driver
´ndiswrapper -e mrv8335´ instead of ´ndiswrapper -e mrv8335.inf´
That worked

Then I started again and tried the win98 driver instead of the XP_2K one. Bingo everything worked from there.

I followed the instructions on this site

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/Device/Netgear_WG311_v3

but this one helped me a bit too

WG311v3 LINUX WIKI - Jimbo7-wiki

Then i clicked on the networking symbol top right of the Ubuntu desktop and fumbled my way through there.

Cheers🙂

yes there is USB solution to it - Called Netgear Wifi USB, kindly search ubuntuforum for the compatibility and i think the latest version should not have any problems... In delhi, Price for PCI WiFi Card is 850/- and for USB is 950/-
