How is 48 kbps unlimited pack?

Hi allAnyone from delhi using the 48 kbps unlimited package? can u plz let me know how gud the speeds are? wat kinda speeds u get during daytime n at night?? n do u get the mentioned speed at all or is it juz another crappy package courtesy Sify Thnx in advance

Yep I use the 48 kbps package. It has started giving constant speeds of around 96 kbps since 2 months or so, both during the daytime and at night. Seems a pretty decent and cost-effective package with the only problem areas being the unreliable local CTOs network and the reduction in validity if you download much. But then these are common across all the packages of Sify (except the validity reduction bit not being there for the night packages only)

@inetbumThnx for the prompt reply so the 150 mb cap applies to this pack too?? or is it less than 150 mb for this package? is there reduction in speed too after 75 mb download or something like that??as far as the CTO is concerned my CTO is pretty ok if not very gud but that problematic part wud remain in all of the packages...lol

150 mb limit exists .. and i think speed isnt reduces after 75 mb now a days . and yes speed is pretty good 6-7 KB/s anytime

Its one of the better packs for sure, but still its sify, how good can it get?

Take a differnet ISP/....dont waste ur money on any package if u have an alternative

Well I dont have any alternative as of now.. only ISPs in my locality are Sify n MTNL so i dont really have a choice.

Speeds are good to say the least both daytime and night time above 96 K on packages that were advertised as 48 K.

The only problem with SIFY is the 150 MB a day limit.
