how i configure airtel dsl

i have already Airtel DSL connection working with LINUX..but i want to replace with a new windows system...it not connect automatically...why i have to configure for windows o/s...
 
you might want to start with telling us which modem you have and whether you are connecting with an ethernet cord or USB.

i m using Beetal ADSL 220BX+modem

and also it is connected with USB port...
 
reverse trend of OS moves. but proves that its just the switch of OS that makes ppl nervous. its not that linux is tough!
 
and how many times did windows kill u? LOL
 

heh i really cannot afford to spend 10 years learning linux that i spent learning windows. i am actually more troubled with gnome than with linux in general. i guess i should have installed kubuntu.
