How do I change Wi-Fi Channel on Reliance Jio Fiber Router?

I am using ₹2500 router.

Is there any way to change the WiFi channel from default 1 to something else like 11,6 ? Or it may be enabled via firmware update in future ?

Thsi is the damn issue with Jio. These duffers hvae locked down the GW device and there is no or very little scope for customization.

There is no way. Customercare confirmed this. Not sure if they will unlock this and other features at least after commercial run and make this router on par with others in the market.

can't you disable wireless functionality on the jio hardware and use your own wireless router?
