I have Tri-Band and I am using for more than a year. I have a parallel connection for Phone and Triband. Now When I connect the Splitter in my phone HISS sound come and when I disconnect the sound goes. I have a DSL-502T D-Link Router with Splitter. Is this a Splitter problem??? or something else. My ADSL link on router is not steady it comes and goes.... Pls help....

try connecting the modem directly to the main line and seeYES IT IS A SPLITTER PROBLEM

Change splitter.
check rj11 connectors for corrosion /oxidisation/ change and try.
SETUP : Recommended by all ISP's.
telephone line===rj11 ==>>> splitter LINe
telephone line ( parallel === another splitter==PHONE Port===>> phones)
( You filter the Broadband frequencies from the phone line )
splitter==PHONE port ==rj11==>>>> ALL phones including cordless base.
splitter===>ADSL PORT===rj11==>> Modem
Any other way you connect problems .
Give modem details and post snr/ attn data.
adsl status.
I connect the Splitter in my phone
PHONES always after splitter.

Have you purchased Splitter from Open Market or is it original with Modem? I guess it is from market.........
