High Ping during Evening/Night

Anyone facing high pings during evening/Night ?
From past few days my ping goes to 120ms from 20ms in Counter Strike.
Even the speed test result shows high ping.
I am on FTTH, I get around 6ms to nearest server (now its 49)

It was 20ms before. Also during the day time, the issue is fixed and ping is normal.
Possible routing issue, anyone else facing same ?

Doesn't seem to be a routing issue but more likely your nearest gateway server/router, is possibly being over worked than its specifications.
Being on fiber, eliminates any line throttling, so the server can only be the answer. I doubt the LCOs are trained enough to attend to such issues.
These servers also do have traffic shaping so while ICMP pings might be high, maybe the real online multiplayer still be the good?? Or is it not?

May be, ping usually goes high after 7 PM. Traffic shaping might be the issue.
Multiplayer gamng sucks at 120ms.

6ms, is still high for <50 mi speedtest.

I have similar issues in ACT Fibernet, except that it's random. Got fed up and gave up.

Nearest server should usually be 8-12ms for the route, but sometimes to goes 30-35 increasing ping to all servers
