Waiting from past 2 hours for match's start. The 'The Extra Scoop' - Pre-match program is bugging me from 7'o clock. Especially, the Former Hockey Captain Uppal.

First match seems ok. The coverage is not good, no proper focus by the cameramen...
 
Can't wait to see my home team playing.Esp. commentary was bit irritating.Neo Sports = Hindi Commentary; Neo Cricket = English Commentary.
 
I had High hopes on Indian Hockey Team. They seem to be just an average team participating there. Lets hope more, fingers crossed.

However, the team is still not totally comfortable on the blue turf on which the Olympic competition will be held.

I'm wandering why colors are changing to BLUE! Any reason behind it?
 
Yup, i too was wondering the same question why Blue?? when the Olympic playing countries don't have Blue turfs in their Stadiums, Why this Sudden Drastic Move by FIH?Well, India did play well against the Defending champions germany losing 1-2. But they should have won the last play-off for the bronze medal against GB. it was the lowest ranking team among other 2
 

Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament is going on (Just read about India's defeat to Britain) & no updates here.Sort of justifies my point, that this sub-forum is of no use, hardly anybody interested to post here, something I mentioned when it was started 😕
 
What I am saying is that as the way things stand, Hockey doesnt justify having a separate subforum at IBF. The common sports section should be enough for the odd discussion that "might" arise.

Tough going for India in Azlan Shah Hockey. They've lost to NZ and GB. Hope they get back into winning groove with a win against Malaysia.

But, when you see, they've used blue turf. Probably thats making the team a bit of problem. The news is that they are even using the blue turf for OLYMPICS 2012 too. Hope Team India gets ready for it.

But, i meant it's troubling more to Indian - as i heard it somewhere.

I posted that twitter message, because there's two things to understand from it. Number 1, It's been telecasted on Neo Sports. Number 2, Ajay Maken, the sports minister is watching sports. You can hardly see such ministers who are keen in their duty.
 
But why is it affecting Indians more is actually the question.Yeah, I was aware that was coming in Neo Sports, hence the twitter message seemed a bit out dated as it was for a completed match. As far as a minister watching the match, I thought they do follow things, but the posting on twitter just highlighted it.
