Here is Vodafone India calling 64kbps 3G

I just came across the following page about 3G plans by Vodafone. Are the unlimited plans really unlimited? Thanks.

Btw can someone report this to Mr. Modi? How can 64kbps be called 3G?

And if its not 3G, how can they call it Unlimited 3G?!

And if its still called as Unlimited 3G - how can your government NOT do anything about it?

PS: I am not reporting because I dont have hope of any action.

3G is WCDMA. I do not think name has to do any thing with the speed.

yup. just because the network is 3g, it should not mean that you can advertise 64kbps on it as 3g speeds 🙂

At least Idea says that after 3G data is expired we will shift to unlimited 2G for remaining period for Postpaid plan. E.g. if we have 2GB 3G plan for month, and if 2GB is over, we will shift to 2G mode internet and it will not be charged.
