[help] unlimited 599 plan (ncr region)

hi all,
im a newbie here n just got to this awesome forum while searching for airtel
broadband plans..

Q- i live in vaishali ghaziabad U.P (NCR REGION)..
I have teken a new airtel broadband connection 20 days back..
plan> unlimited 499,64kbpps
dl speed im getiing > 8 to 10 kbps
upload is 8 kbps..

now guyz i heard abt the 599 unlimited plan from a frnd, n i want that
he gets 30 to 35 kbps downloadng speed, so i thinks he has 256 kbps plan..

i want this plan so i asked airtel persons (not the Customer Care)
they told me>
1. tht this plan is nt availbl for new connections, they r provided to
old consumers...???

2. another 1 told me tht after 2 months i can call CC n tell them tht i m getting slow speed n want to switch to bsnl or any other provider, so by tht they can give me 599 plan..????

3. or i can do a topup of 100rs/month by calling CC n my speed will b doubled!???


so plz can u guyz help me in getting it..

am on 599 plus plan , based in kerala and my details areSpeed = 128 kbps ie kilo bits per secondDL Speed = 16-17 KBps ie kilo bytes per secondmonthly bill = 599 + 10.33% taxes ie 660 or 661 but the speed is never down though its already down :wall:and calls free worth Rs. 100/-thats all i can tell u as per my connection and its not 256 kbps :irock:

why not try to go for 256 UL? the cost would be more or less the same.

I am on Home 499 plan 1 GB day Rs 200 free calls
top up Rs 99/PM NU 0900PM to 0800AM 2 Mbps speed all !!!
Airtel user for two years . ALL top up plans discontinued. now.
If I ask for Plan change I will loose the Nu facility.

why not try to go for 256 Unlimited? the cost would be more or less the same.

256kbps also not sufficient for browsing so need to bring 512kbps as minimum speed:readtherules:

Sorry guys for my late reply 😛Now i have 450 plan so i pay around 500 a month, i get 60-70 kbps speed but after the limit i get around 30 only 🙁, FUP really sux.
