Hi there!
I've been trying to set up a TP-Link GPON router with my Airtel Xstream connection.
I am not a fan of airtel's free ONT's so I finally bit the bullet and purchased the XC220-G3v.
I've been having some trouble to connect it so any help or tips are appreciated.
Here are the main settings that i used.
GPON SN : I copied this from airtel's ont
GPON Password : My airtel broadband account number
VLAN ID : 100 [Copied from airtel's ont]
WAN Username : xxxxxxxxxxxx_dsl@airtelbroadband.in
WAN Password : My airtel broadband account number
MTU Size : 1492 [Copied from airtel's ont]
The OLT mode is set to auto.
The router also has a MAC address spoofing feature where I added my ont's mac address. I also tried to keep this feature off when connecting in case it was causing problems.
I also tried leaving the GPON password field empty and multiple other passwords like the mac address of the router.
I followed this link as a guide, the model used in the video isn't the same as mine but the interface is more or less the same.
Thanks!
