Hi! I'm new here.I want some suggestion from netizens in this forum.I'm about to take new intenet connection at my home.I prefer CABLE Intenet over ADSL.Can u suggest me a good ISP providing 1/2 MBPS with unlimited download HOME PLAN?I live in pune.I will really appreciate UR replies.TANX IN ADVANCE!

DareHJ do remember that we're still in India and what your expecting would come into existence maybe when your grandchild becomes a grandfather... :lol:Jokes apart.....I really dunno any cable providers @ Pune.. but Beamcables @ Hyderabad have some cheesecake plans if your going in for Unlimited plans with good speeds....

Hi,

Do NOT go for a cable based ISP. Use DSL based BSNL/Airtel.

With cable, your interconnection's uptime is only as good as your cable guy.

Cant actualy say about others but, BSNL DataOne Home UL 900+ has been working perfectly fine with me for last 8 months. However, you may do some research about router to be picked up. Coz D-Link gave me quiet a few sleepless nights and I have heard even Netgear has some problems with BSNL exchanges (or servers).
