I'm interested in buying a projector in the next 2 weeks and I need your suggestions. Budget: Approx 35000 1st question: whether to for LCD or DLP technology End use: to watch movies only Brand: I've shortlisted the following brands: Sony, sharp, viewsonic & toshiba. I want to stick to these brands but do let me know if I'm missing some reliable brand which I should be considering. Resolution: At least 1024*768 brightness: At least 2000 lumen contrast: At least 2000:1 the problem is that there are no lcd projectors with both brightness & contrast more than 2000🙂1) for the given budgetso i have to stick to DLP projectors if anyone has experience on this matter please help me out. FYI, i'm getting this projector from US. so no problems like the unavailability of the model in india as well as the cost might be lower
