Help Needed for connecting wifi router

Hey Guys ,

Need help in this !

Previously ,I had BSNL broadband which was connected to Belkin wifi router. Recently moved to Airtel, broadband plan is RS 1600 along with free WIFI modem which is installed in ground floor .I m facing issues in connecting in first floor .So I connected my old belkin wifi router to airtel wifi modem using a LAN cable but no use .Help required .
 
What do you mean by 'no use'? No internet connectivity?
Are you able to ping the airtel modem/router when you are connected to the Belkin router?
There might be an IP conflict. Try disabling DHCP in the airtel modem/router. Enable DHCP in Belkin router.
Look for the Belkin manual to know exactly where to do this in the settings.
