I have already read some discussion about the topic in this fourm, This is a very Awesome post Reliance JioFiber: Port Forwarding NOT SUPPORTED | Reliance JioFiber
I called customer care and they were asking for Details of IP Camera like model number and stuff, They said they will send some Jio Engineer to my home.
My problem is I don't have any IP Camera or DVR/NVR, I don't even know how they look like.
It would be really helpful if someone shared
1. Details of some generic DVR/NVR and IPCamera
2. Share the experience of what the engineers do when they come to your house?
3. How to request them to open more than 1 ports?
Also some suggestions of how to persuade Jio Egineers to setup my PC IP address instead of DVR/NVR's
Edit:- I have a Webcam and an extra PC, Can I make a IP Camera setup from this??
Edit2:- I was able to make this IP camera setup, It uses AgentDVR which is installed on my spare Windows PC and a Webcam as a Camera.
Now I am wandering what model NVR should I tell Jio and would they consider my makeshift setup?
