Hello I recently subscribed to bsnl's dataone broadband. It works fine from win xp, but i am unable to figure out how to get it working in debian linux. I have tried everything that has been said in this thread but still cant get it to work.
My modem is siemens c2110 and its in bridge mode.
I have tried using pppoeconf and when that didnt work i also used rp-pppoe. After the initial setup when i tried doing pon dsl-provider, the output from plog said that it timed out. When i tried pppoe-start the output is as follows:

Iam able to ping the modem without any problems. But the pppoe setup is not going through. Please somebody help. I posted this message in another thread also but no replies so far.
