Indian industry analysts are speculating that Prime Video would be a natural fit for the HBO content – either as part of its SVoD service or with the launch of HBO Max as part of the Prime Video Channels offering in India.

Discovery+ is already available as a channel so makes sense HBO would appear on it as well.

IPL gone, hbo gone. I guess they will loose a lot of numbers.

HBO's asking price is causing delays apparently.

Ambani is fighting with Amazon at various places. If Jio gets HBO, it would be huge boost to whatever OTT app they are planning.

has someone ever really asked that if they've already paid for something, like an yearly subscription and soon after the platform removes substantial content (or even the content the user actually signed up for), will they be compensated as they feel they've been wronged by the OTT platform?
Or do they mention in their T&C that any content can be removed at any time and the user will not be compensated.

Only 4 days remaining to renew their hbo contract. If it doesn't happen anyone spent ₹1499 just to watch Disney content? No ipl,no f1,no hbo after paying ₹1499

Sigh. Disney is so low on good content that they had to repeat Superhero movies twice on the front page. "Best of Superheroes" and "Superheroes" and I am pretty sure both had the same list of titles. Good for them. Coz till yesterday, Game of Thrones was the first link when you clicked on the Search bar.

They are still trying to figure it out coz "New on Hotstar" is at the bottom of the page. Don't wanna know what new shit you are adding. Coz nothing to add these days. If only Hotstar could tweet, watch Succession's new episode tomorrow at 12:30 PM. So unfair. Just add Ant-Man 2. Don't wait too long.
