i just took the 512 blast plan and am not even gettin 5-10kb on azureus......i spoke to those guys and they said they will have it checked.....but i guess they arnt gonna do shit about it.....i read on the net about uncaping the modem.....has anyone here used onestep to uncap the webstar dcp2100......if so.....is it possible ???.......

hmm azureus tends to be quite slow if it is not configured properly. do check your connection with a regular ftp or http based download from a good server. for torrents try utorrent... default settings work well.

regular http downloads and ftp downloads are also dead slow.....now the only way to screw with hathway is to uncap the modem

They have a list of uncappable modems on that site. The newer versions of modems cannot be uncapped due to restrictions by manufacturers. 🙁

Isn't it possible for the ISP to sniff out if we uncap our modems ?
