Has BSNL capped upload speed on Fiber Broadband?

early versions let you switch between tcp and udp. but they basically locked this section after a few builds.

WARP+ is going through DEL colo on app for me but weirdly the endpoint IP has 30ms pings which means its likely routing through Mumbai.

Here is a traceroute to 162.159.192.10 , the CF Endpoint I'm connecting to.

Does BSNL ever cap the upload speeds??

@philip They did cap it during the botnet attack.

But uncap upload speed is good for the consumer. It will help in reducing congested upstream traffic in the long run.

I don't know why Indian ISPs tend to ignore upload traffic, but it does matter obviously.

Smartphones etc all have a lot of synchronisations running in the background and that's all mostly upstream data.
