Has BSNL capped upload speed on Fiber Broadband?

Has BSNL capped the upload speed to 1/10th of the download speed like Jio did? Or is it only me. I am on 100Mbps plan. Earlier I used to get more than 100Mbps upload speed but now I am getting around only 10Mbps.

Right now mine is still symmetric upload speed (full speed). I hope this is not a new change BSNL is rolling out gradually to follow Jio 😡

What I feared is happening.
Jio has set a fucked up precedent and there is no surprise if other operators followed suit.

Call your local NIB and ask them to make it symmetrical.

So far so good on my end, I'm on Superstar 300 (50 Mbps on IPv4, TBD on IPv6 😉)

on fast.com even i am getting over 100mbps in speed test with 50mbps plan. probably that is for within the country servers. outside it is same are you using ipv4?

The only real advantage of BSNL. You can get access to the guys working in the server room.

Good luck trying that with ISPs like Jio Fiber.

What Addressing Type is BSNL using for IPv6? SLAAC or DHCPv6?

@vishalrao @vignesh_venkatesan @varkey I have lodged a complaint on pgportal. Let's see what their answer is. But another strange thing is happening. When I upload a file to google drive, the upload speed is around 200Mbps.😂

Currently, my upload speed is not capped (in Tamil Nadu). Where are you from?
