If your Linux OS don't already have it.

Open Software Manager/Center.
Search: grun
Install.
Press Alt+F2 to open gRun 0.9.3
If that doesn't work, Right Click Desktop > Create New Launcher > Type Name and Command: grun
Say yes to add this launcher to menu also.
Open grun from desktop or start menu.

Yep alt-f2 is default for "command dialogue" (in KDE too)

And I thought gRun (or equivalent) wud come by default with GNOME.

Why to install?
