need a suggestion. something of the size of a widget... something like i had for win os...

yeah i tried that. not very interesting. am getting used to running MTR command all the time.
 
i think i remember seeing a pinging utility in the network tools or something.. it also had whois and another ton of stuff.. its inbuilt in ubuntu..
