Got redirected to complementary (free) 1.5gb data on BB249 plan after exhausting FUP.

Around 11 PM tonight after exhausting my FUP of 1.5 gb I was redirected to a page with the option to "agree" if I wanted to avail 1.5 gb extra data "for today" free of cost. This is the first time I came across this offer. Speed was restored to 8 Mbps. Did not read or hear anything of this kinda offer before. Anyone else get such offer?

I haven't exhausted my FUP since then, so I don't know if the offer still exists or not yet.
