But I think it is working better than before. The launcher was kind of painful to use before. It has been quite smooth ever since the update. But then I have not really spent much time on it. Played a lot of Miniclip Pool which went as smooth as before.

It looks like memory leakage issue has been addressed. 24+ hours of uptime after applying update and still 1GB free RAM available. With 5.0, it used to come down to 200-300MB in 2-3 days of usages and restart was only solution.
