Google UK is launching the 2014 Google Impact Challenge, inviting British non-profits to tell them how they would use technology to transform lives. Peter Jones, senior judge in this year's challenge, shares his views on what kind of hinking and projects will help make a better world, faster.
In the largest competition of its kind, the top four submissions selected by both a panel of judges and the public will each receive a £500,000 grant, while the six runners up will each receive £200,000. All will receive technical assistance and mentoring from Google and Nesta to help make their project a reality.
