In case you are a follower. He is going to do a public hangout on January 26. I could not fetch the link because it was an ad on my own page which I am not allowed to click. But it should be rather easy to find.

Blog Post
On the 28th of February, Finance Minister P. Chidambaram will head to Parliament to deliver the Union Budget of India. Four days later, he will turn to Google+ to respond to questions pertaining to the Budget. Check out the event page here: https://goo.gl/4IFSJ and tune in to the Hangout on March 4, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. IST.

Joining the Finance Minister’s Hangout is a panel of luminaries: Jahangir Aziz, Senior Asia Economist and India Chief Economist, JP Morgan, Anand Mahindra, Chairman and Managing Director of Mahindra & Mahindra, and Amit Singhal, Senior Vice President, Google Inc. During the conversation, selected participants will ask the Minister questions — but we’d also like to hear from you before the Hangout.

Nope. He gets to brag about how awesome his budget is and how it would take India to the next step to become a developed nation and blah blah blah.

i really appreciate your optimism, but this government is out to screw everyone big time.

well they have been pretty nice about taxes. limits are being increased. i do not think anyone has any complaint about that.of course, lower taxes does not matter much when your petrol expense in a month goes higher than what you save on taxes in a year.

Stupid budget so far. Spending on social sectors increased manifold across the board when not even 10 % of the money reaches to the poor
