Sushub I do have my "basics" right. Try spybot and check it !!!
Before asking people to "get their basics right" please note that I said categorically in my post that I hardly know anything about computers so there is no need to flame anyone about it !!
I didn't denounce any software. This was my opinion based on what I had observed !!!!! Incidentally it was not with the "current" verson of Opera. Opera was running add banners when I tried it (I did no not use it now) and it did repeatedly get a warning note from spybot checks. I did install it from a CHIP CD so I can't vouch for the primary download site.
Equipoise is necessary for discussions !!!

get me one online reliable source that proves opera comes with spywares.anti-virus softwares and anti-spyware softwares always give out false alarms. opera has a generic ad generator which might have triggered it on ur particular spyware scanner.but opera is spyware free.
