The digital arm of Times Group, Times Internet formed a strategic partnership with Gawker Media (Gawker), manage and drive local Indian destinations for Gizmodo.com and Lifehacker.com

As part of the collaboration, Times Internet will have exclusive rights to the Brand; monetization, content, syndication and sub-licensing of Gizmodo.com and Lifehacker.com within India. Times Internet intends to use The Times Group's multimedia resources to help develop and evangelize the brand locally.

Gizmodo.com is a website focused on gadgets and tech culture. It is a technology weblog about consumer electronics and is part of the Gawker Media network run by Nick Denton and is known for its up-to-date coverage of the technology industry, along with topics as broad as design, architecture, space, and science. Lifehacker is a weblog about life hacks and software which launched on January 31, 2005. The site owned by Gawker Media covers software of all kinds, applications, tips and tricks.

Gawker India is independently owned and operated American online media company with eight websites with over 40 million unique visitors, worldwide. Through this partnership, Times Internet will manage and drive local Indian destinations for Gizmodo.com and Lifehacker.com, Gawker Media’s technology focused sites.
