i'm planning to take a new bsnl landline connection and a broadband connection after but the previous tenants who lived in our house has not payed the bill amount of 2000rs/- and left the house .we got bill of 2000rs/- after we shifting to that house but we left without paying(almost 1 and half year completed) and now i need a landline connection to this address.is there any way to get the landline connection to my address without paying the dues made by our previous tenants .plz help me out guys what should i do now?

yes.. if you apply with a new name then they will provide connection.... without asking for due settlement

If the previous tenant's connection was given with your consent/permission
in writing, you could have agreed for the dues/ liability in the tenant's application form.
Even if the arrears Bill is in the tenant's name., and now address not known>.

If BSNL did not ask for your permission and gave the connection to the tenant,
No problem. Landline connection and Broadband connection in your Own Name,
with proof of residence/propertyTax receipt/Ration card/ etc.

see this link. Even if postpaidBB is disconnected Prepaid plans are offered.
