Getting extremely slow speeds in kolkata.

I have been getting extremely slow speeds in kolkata for the last 3 days. 10-20 kbps is the max that i get during day hours. Strangely though speed shoot upto 100 kbps after 12 o'clock. any ideas what's going on?I'm using 750 unlimited plan.

Yea same issue here (kolkata) - horrible speeds, lots of packet loss and high latency. Almost throughout the day, slightly better at night but the packet loss remains. Usual BSNL bullshit, I doubt there's anything we can do.

Ya dealing with their shitty issues time and again is extremely annoying . Guess i'll have to wait for sometime.

Same here. Facing a weird speed problem. Happening from the past 4-5 days. The only thing is we can wait and see when does the same gets resolved.

my neighbor has the plan 750 (lake Gardens) n she said that there has been no such speed issues but Counterstrike Latency on most servers suddenly goes up 450+

I called the bsnl guys and they told me that their are some server issues which would need a few days to resolve. keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for a speedy solution.

I think they recently changed their routing to go through Mumbai instead of Chennai and that has made it even worse

I have lodged complaints but the local exchange guys are happy as long as the "line" is working, they don't give a shit to the bandwidth we're getting. I am paying 1350 a month and I am getting 0.05 mbps, BSNL is now a joke!
