Getting 1.7 mbps on 4mbps plan

last month i got a 4mbps Uld999 plan .and i checked for speed at speedtest.net the speed was 1.7mb/s.so i reported to bsnl they didn't give me proper support.so i came here to tell my problem. please help me

BSNL Exchange guys in your locality would need to do it. They are usually assholes so requesting to them is unlikely to work. Send a complaint through the above portal demanding 4mbps speeds on your line.

Just to give it a try, visit your local exchange and try to ask the exchange guys to increase your line speed to 6000kbps 😀 they usually put it at 4000kbps which stupidly enough is still below 4mbps. distance and other factors results in further slowdown resulting in speeds of around 3.2-3.4mbps.

2047 kbps is the problem value. It's set at exchange. You can't get more than it!

ok i am gonna take airtel broadband the bsnl is crap can u tell whats the upload limit of 1399 plan of airtel

Airtel is horrible for uploads. Line becomes unstable. Pings break. Browsing is painful. That has been my experience.
