GENX FTTH Modem compatibility

Hello..
Does anyone have idea of whether I can replace a much better router model instead of my present BSNL FTTH GX Platinum 4410? if yes, please suggest a model. 4410 does not have 5G WiFi feature.

Buy a decent Wi-Fi 5 router and use your 4410 as a dumb modem.

Please suggest a good router model which has dual band, remote management & parental control.
Do I need to put ONU on bridge mode? Kindly suggest the setting on ONU & router to get the best.

Is it possible to get voice facility + bridge mode on BSNL supplied Genexis Platinum 4410 (v2 1.40E ) modem/router ? Any one using in this mode?

Yes, you can use both at the same time.

Found a very good video on how to configure FTTH modem in bridge mode for the external router as an access point (AP) OR in router mode.
If you want to use BSNL FTTH modem's telephone port in bridge mode, make sure “Service Mode” is Internet. Also take backup of your ONU configuration on a sheet of paper.
