Well then what you are saying is true in your area. Coz I have seen and setup SIFY at two of my friend's places in mumbai, and none of them got a indivdual WAN ip address.We were not able to access their desktops remotely ,nor could we setup a server, though they could access mine (Pacenet gives dynamic WAN ip).Just out of curiosity , I want to see your ipconfig output if you dont mind. dude they do give individual ip to all people but they block most of ports and randomly sometimes 80 is open sometimes closed so u have to see from outside what ports are open and i am pretty sure sify never opened remote desktop port 3389 ! thats why u were not able to access . At present for me 80,23,22 are open and sometimes 65532 and 65535 are open it all depends on their mood 🙁 and most of times 80 is closed but its open from around a month in my area . Blocking of ports depend from area to area 🙂
