I have recently got my bsnl broadband but am facing frequent disconnectionMy modem is C2210 and every now and then the link light starts blinking (indicating no signal) and after every 10-15 minutes it comes back but I am not able to disconnect my connection with ppoe dialer when the light starts blinking as a result I guess when I try to login again its says wrong username/password , Then I have to wait 2-3 hours to be able to login again. What should I do and is this normal ?

Try "always on " connection. Uncheck " bridged" in WAn page and select PPP/PPPoE
and enter your username without @bsnl.in and password.

Are you using USBPORT or LAN Port of computer ?

You tried to change from Dialer mode to "AlwaysOn" .
But did not work. then you should have gone back to original settings.
resetting the modem setting resetting the settings

Not advised by me. presume you used the reset switch/button.

No problem. When you reset the modem Externally or from modem page , you restored default settings.
