Hello I know this problem is getting common getting randomly being disconnected from ADSL router , I complaint to this Sarkari babu's , i only get a call from exchange saying " kya Sab Theek hai " ( is it all right )? i am getting blinking light on ADSL .. the line seems ok i even checked it using the phone on same connection which i used for ADSL router it has no noise , in some other thread someone suggested using G.DMT ( ADSL Modulation type ) which didnt work on Bridge Mode , i just tried all this any other geniues suggestions lol 😗 . P.S can this be a conspiracy of babus getting back on Free night downloads plans 😛 ..just a thought .. :hysterical:

After almost a year of MTNL usage, you have frequent disconnection/s.
Please give make of modem, snr and attn details. and Tariif plan/speed
Your splitter could have gone faulty.( line voltage DC 40 to 60V applied via ADSl port to Phone .
using G.DMT ( ADSL Modulation type which didnt work on Bridge Mode ,
wrong conclusion. Post screen shot of ADSL status page.

I am intermittenly facing this problem too.I thought it was solved but now again i am facing this problem,is it exchange specific?I am on 749 NU.

Phone line===>>> rj11==>> splitter==>>PHONE PORT..==>>ALL phones
................................................==>> ADSL PORT===>>RJ11==>>modem
The voltage is present in Telephone line for ringers. You will get a mild shock if you touch the line !
Check SNR and Attenuation figures again.
Now you are in ADSL+2 mod . will change it later if needed.
Splitter cost about Rs 50/= buy from electronic shop. ( marked adsl /phone etc)
Electrical dealers may give you for telephone only.
