Federer, Tsonga, Wawrinka win.

Berdych win in 4.

Simon, Monfils win in 5 setter!

Today's matches:

Djokovic v/s Kokkinakis
Gasquet v/s Anderson (can be interesting match)
Murray v/s Kyrgios (If Murray loses focus Kyrgios can give threat)
Nadal v/s Kuznetsov

Goffin, Ferrer to also play.

Djokovic, Nadal, Murray, Cilic win in 3 sets

Ferrer loses focus mid match to almost lose the match by going down 2 sets to 1 but recovers by winning 12 games out of 13 games in last two sets. (6-0, 6-1)

Chardy beats Goffin

Gasquet wins in 4 sets after losing 1st set

Today's matches:

Tsonga v/s Berdych
Monfils v/s Federer
Nishikori v/s Gabashvili
Wawrinka v/s Simon

Atleast 3 good matches today.

Monfils is BIG threat to Federer - he has beaten Federer last two times - both times it was clay court!

I just get a feeling that Fedrer will win today's match against Monfils...

Tsonga beats Berdych in 4 sets.

Nishikori beats Gabashvili in 3 sets

Wawrinka beats Simon in 3 sets.

Federer v/s Monfils match was suspended due to bad light!

Score was 1 set each Federer 6-3, 4-6 Monfils

Federer was making many unforced errors hope he looks at yesterday's video and comes to play today based on that!

Today's matches:

Federer v/s Monfils (to continue 6-3, 4-6)
Djojovic v/s Gasquet
Murray v/s Chardy
Nadal v/s Sock

Federer wins 3rd and 4th sets and has a lucky escape. As Monfils was sick.

Djokovic, Ferrer wins easily.

Murray wins in 4th set.

Nadal loses a SET - rare at french open at this stage. Which indicates his recent drop in form.

Nadal will face Djokovic NEXT!! Most likely its going to be Nadal's second loss at French open!

In women's MARIA SHARAPOVA is OUT!

Today's Matches (MEN's QF):

Tsonga v/s Nishikori (Court - Philippe Chatrier)
Wawrinka v/s Federer (Court Suzanne-Lenglen)

Both matches should be interesting.

ROGER FEDERER OUT in 3 sets!

Wawrinka simply was too powerful today for him.

Wind was helping Wawrinka - but still can not be excuse for Federer.

Tsonga wins against Nishikori.

He won 1st two sets AS IF NISHIKORI is little kid.

But then an accident happened in stadium.

Part of screen fell on some spectator and PLAY WAS STOPPED for 30-40 minutes.

This broke Tsonga's rhythm and Nishikori won next 2 sets.

Tsonga however recovered and won final set and match.

Today's matches (Men's QF):

Djokovic v/s Nadal (THE BIG MATCH of this French open) (Court - Philippe Chatrier)
Murray v/s Ferrer (Court Suzanne-Lenglen)

First match depends on how well Nadal plays on his favourite SURFACE. Djokovic at his current level should be able to beat him unless NADAL gets his magic back.

Second match should be tight. Clay is NOT Murray's favourite surface but then he has not lost a single match on CLAY this season. Ferrer is unpredictable. If he plays well, he can pull this off. But then Murray is outright favourite to win.

I will (mostly) no more update this thread, as Federer is OUT and I have no further interest! 😀

If Nadal beats Djokovic then Nadal will be winner.

But if Djokovic beats Nadal and Wawrinka beats Tsonga.

Then only Wawrinka can beat Djokovic. (Tsonga can not beat Djokovic)

LAST FOUR GRAND SLAM MATCHES of Wawrinka v/s Djokovic have been 5 setters!

Every match very close. Djokovic won 3 and Wawrinka 1.
