Free HD upgrade?

I've just received call from Tata Sky offering me free upgrade of my SD set-top box to a HD one.
Have anybody else received such offer? The person said the they're offering this free upgrade because I've been with TATA Sky since 2008 (True that) I've asked him three times if I won't be charged for any installation or such, he repeatedly said I'll not be charged any money whats so ever :h:. He said I'll receive call from technician tomorrow. So lets wait 'n watch :think:...
 
1-2 year ago, the tv remote of a videocon dth connection at my place broke. i called up the company for a replacement.
was offered a cool day. prepay for a year and get free upgrade to hd stb (with a remote of course). went for that. the upgrade was technically free i suppose.

Tata Sky is probably hoping that some of the consumers would take hd channel subscriptions.

I again got call from local dealer and told the free upgrade is only available for the old inactive (secondary) connection :banghead:

What the heck?! I didn't ask for any upgrade :envy:!!! This is so misleading...
