recently the modem stopped working. bought a new D-Link modem. while setting up i had to give my bsnl internet user id and password. but somehow the password didn't match. it seems that i've forgotten the password. launched complain and the exchange told me to login with the first password that they gave me (almost 6 years ago. may be more. i'm not sure).
that time i used to use an ip address like 10.240.240.195 to change password, check usage etc. now i can see that things have changed and that ip address is not opening. there is a self care portal. but i think the portal has its own password and id.
i just want to confirm if my bsnl password has been reset as told by the exchange people !!
if they have reset the password i will call the person who would install the modem !! help needed !!
