I have fivenet in my area and been with this ISP for more than 2 years. This connection is never steady, but this thing has started to get on my nerves lately.
I have a third class fivenet line provided by Shri Sai Net (local cable operator) from Chembur who cant understand jack in networking. I keep telling them I am having packet loss upto 30% always (not sometimes, but always), but those people cant understand. The only thing which is keeping me with these jokers is their dc hub. Very bad ISP. The "line checker sunil" is a total ass. I called him 50000 times, he picked up just twice, first time told me he will come home to check in the evening (which he never did), second time he came and clicked on a popular video on youtube to show that the internet is working even though i kept telling I have huge packet loss making online gaming impossible. I have absolutely no idea how this thing is gonna get sorted out.
Can anyone suggest other alternatives in my area, Chembur Mumbai (No FUP)
