First month bill for 900+ UL !!

Hi Friends,

Just now I saw my Broadband bill for first month !!


Rent from 01/01/2008 to 01/02/2008=========>0

Trunk Call Charges=========>0

Overseas Calls=========>0

Accessory Rentals=========>955.16

Miscellaneous Facility Charges=========>1650

Service Tax===============>153.78

Less Adjustment Amount=========> 0

Net Amount Payable by 29/02/2008=========>2798

so can you guys tell me how can it come near 3000 ?

Monthly Broadband Rent =900
Monthly Modem rent =90
Security Deposit =900

So max =1890 +tax => 2100 ~ 2300 !!

So how come more !! If anyone knows, please let me know.. (if anybody gone thru this already) !!!

Did you buy modem from BSNL. If yes then that may be put under the Misc facility.

@appus 1.When did the actual BB connection start ? 4th jan 2008 ?
2. Was it an old Telephone or new one ? New One ?
3. Rentals Rs 900BB + modem rent for 28 days ?= ............................ Rs 955.16
4 MFC BBsecurity deposit + Phone inst/security + tf call charges = ............Rs 1650.00
5. Service tax@12% BB Rs900 mod rent+ TF calls/abtRs1270.. ............Rs 153.78

6. Unusual ending date may be typing mistake.
7. How many free calls allowed. How many charged calls ?
seems OK to me. In every State different bill formats are used.

I called up the account department and they made them clear now !!

everyone in this plan will get this amount .. because....

Modem Security Deposit => 500
Broadband security Deposit => 900
Installation charges=>250 (broadband), phone installation is free !

That total comes to => 1650

i got the connection on 3rd january.

Modem rental =>55.16
Monthly rental=>900

That comes to 955.16

Call charges =39 (no rental)->39 calls ! (everything used only for complaint registration)

and tax.=> 153.78


Total =2797.94

Rounded off 2798 !!

So, Those who havent got the first month bill, Your bill be around 2800 !! Be ready to pay !! (1400 is refundable deposit)
