Fedora 15 now has kernel 3.0!!Though they versioned it 2.6.40 because many RPM package look for 2.6 kernel.btw. 2.6.39 is last version of real kernel.. so 2.6.40 is not real!! 😀

I've to wait for Ocelot to get Kernel 3.0. There is no major changes in it. Just re-numbered .

Haha, why not just say "Ubuntu 11.10?" (You made me google search yesterday which gave no hints and then just now u made me read A BIG ARTICLE just to find out that Ocelot is nothing but Ubuntu code name!)

Its like I writing this thread title "Lovelock" is OUT!

In which case hardly anybody wud know what is Lovelock!!

For those who dont know, Lovelock is a name given to "Fedora 15"!

Here is a DID YOU KNOW?

Each Fedora release name is related to previous release's name.

History of Fedora release names - FedoraProject

Release name relationships

Name n and n+1 must share an is-a (not a has-a) relationship, but n and n+2 must not share the same is-a relationship as n and n+1. The release names we put up for vote tend to have multiple meanings so as to allow us to select a new name with a different relationship for the next release. It is part of the fun!

There are guidelines for picking up the next release's name!
