Facing frequent LAN disconnections on airtel fiber

I have been facing frequent disconnections over lan but wifi seems working fine........what should I do?? kindly help

There might be some issues with the lan cable or the router itself so please get them checked before jumping into any conclusions

did you try a different Ethernet cable as xposed suggested?

I think cable is probably fine, it's the cheap connectors inside the jack.

@cyruff845 Check your connectors on both ends for black thin coating or rust (that's rust too, isn't?) or post a picture here

@wheatbread @Xposed He said it was an olt issue and he fixed it but it still persists .The PON light which is supposed to be stable suddenly starts blinking and i lose connection . i don't know what is causing this?

I checked the Rx power which around -23 and i even rebooted it but the problem still persists

I've been facing a weird issue with my Airtel Xstream Fibre connection .The PON light which is supposed to be stable suddenly starts blinking and the connection goes off .It usually happens 7-8 times a day

That's not LAN, that's WAN. Contact Airtel.

IDK very hard to tell anything based on no information. Contact Airtel, they probably have access to your router's system logs.
